“Part of Mr Blair’s place in history will be defined by the use of his surname to describe various things. A political ‘Blairite’ is synonymous with a weak but trendy political approach. After his comments today on the effects on Britain from the mass, uncontrolled, wage reducing EU immigration that he signed Britain up to, ‘Blairlusional’ can be christened as new entry. That is, a politician who not only ignores the objective reality at the time of making a huge policy mistake but when the subsequent facts which proves them wrong are so obvious, that politician is still oblivious to problems that they have caused.
“It is now clear that the ‘substitution effect’ of unfettered EU migration has increased numbers of a dispossessed, impoverished, UK ‘underclass’. This is a group of clearly identifiable British people, often corralled on ‘sink council’ estates, who are unemployed, underemployed or unemployable and who are more and more hopelessly set apart from our nation at large and do not share in its life, its ambitions and its achievements. By allowing these UK members of the labour force to be substituted by immigrant labour and paying its members benefits instead of helping them to become productive members of our society, Labour and Tony Blair doomed whole sections of our communities to lives with little or no hope.”
