"In light of this huge UK subsidy to the French Port of Calais we can now treat the scaremongering claims by those who say that if the British people vote for BREXIT the French government will cancel the bi-lateral Treaty between our two countries establishing our border in France with a pinch of salt. It is clear that the Calais authorities have turned their security situation into a £100,000 a day export opportunity. Yet another example, where our trade balance with the EU favours our partners on the continent.
"It is now time for the government to urge the French to improve the security situation in Calais by breaking up camps like The Jungle and dispersing the economic migrants trying to get to Britain so that the UK taxpayer can reduce the money it is paying France to keep them out of Britain".
