Steven Woolfe UKIP's Frontbencher Spokesman on Financial Affairs, hit out at Cameron and Osborne by saying, "today's ruling shows just how dead in the water Cameron's reform attempts are. Osborne has made it a personal mission to overturn this cap, yet one simple decision made in a foreign court has completely undermined his attempts"
The ECJ advocate general argued "that all the UK’s pleas should be rejected and that the Court of Justice dismiss the action". Woolfe stated "The ease with which the ECJ has dismissed the UK government is laughable. If Cameron thinks he can get any sort of real negotiation from these people then he is as deluded as they are. It is this type of ruling that is pushing more British people towards the EU exit door"
