On Friday (4th September), UKIP leader Nigel Farage launched the party's 'Say No To EU Tour' and announced that the party had over 300 public meetings across the UK, to reach out to the people on the ground. In addition, he also announced that UKIP had distributed over 3 million leaflets across to the party's referendum coordinators across 12 regions, ready for distribution by local UKIP branches.
Following UKIP's Tour launch in London, Steven travelled to The Freedom Association's festival in Harrogate to launch the association's Better Off Out campaign.
Addressing activists and the media in Harrogate, Steven said said "Don't ever give up hope, even in the darkest days, get out there and make the case."
"We need to spread and amplify our message to every single street corner across Britain, because we know that a Britain outside of the EU, is a Britain which is more freer, democratic and prosperous, and I am determined to do everything in my power to spread that message widely and loudly across the UK."
