Steven spoke and took questions alongside fellow UKIP parliamentary candidates Henry Boota for Bradford West, Owais Rajput for Bradford East and Jason Smith for Bradford South.
Although with bad weather and an anti UKIP demonstration outside of the hotel, the event was still well attended by many local residents.
As UKIP's Migration spokesman, Steven spoke about his brief on why UKIP has the most ethical and most fair migration policies of all of the political parties in the UK.
After the meeting, Steven commented "Thank you to UKIP Bradford branch for inviting me to speak tonight. I always relish the opportunity to talk at public meetings and to do my bit as a UKIP MEP, in spreading a positive message about UKIP and the policies we have developed.
"Unfortunately, the event did attract an anti UKIP demonstration outside of the hotel. I invited a few of them in to have a reasonable discussion about the accusations they were making about UKIP. Their lies about UKIP were picked apart bit by bit and they left before the event finished.
"I am sure that with our 3 fantastic UKIP candidates in Bradford are expecting success in May this year. Good luck to them all."
